It’s taken a little while…

We are finally here, from creating my previous website from scratch I decided to use a WordPress theme and customise everything to cater for my needs, but that meant having to learn WordPress too!.

But… it was actually easier than I first thought, the hardest part of creating my new website, was the content.. I have hundreds of thousands of images on numerous hard-drives to narrow down, while I do have images stored for easy access, finding them and exporting them again for web is a task in itself!

Thankfully WordPress is quite forgiving in that sense, so you can easily upload and update images at once, it’s just the number that I have and to sort through which was quite daunting to begin with, also balancing work/life with a 3 year old boy there was always going to be distractions,

Now that most of the structure is sorted I can easily update the content over time and try to get a news / story section going from all my travel work, along with some others you may find interesting.
